GTA 6 bundle sent to content creators, and fans think it looks better than the $400 Collector’s Edition box

Rockstar Games is starting to ramp up marketing for GTA 6, and some content creators are now receiving special packages filled with merchandise. Interestingly, the promotional bundle is already getting attention from fans who think its contents look better than what Rockstar is offering in the recently announced $400 Collector’s Edition.
Content creator TmarTn recently showed off one of these packages after Rockstar unexpectedly sent it to him. The black Rockstar-branded box contained several GTA 6 and Vice City-themed items, including a blue baseball cap with a pink Rockstar logo, a matching T-shirt, stickers, and a blue and pink tote bag featuring GTA 6 branding.
Perhaps the standout item, however, is a Zippo lighter featuring Rockstar and Vice City branding. Unlike some of the more unusual collectibles included with the retail Collector’s Edition, most of the items in the creator package are things fans could actually wear or use.

The timing makes the package particularly interesting, as Rockstar only recently revealed the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. Priced at $399.99, the box includes 11 pieces of merchandise, but notably doesn’t include a digital code for the game.
Instead, the Collector’s Edition focuses heavily on Macca the Gator and other Leonida-themed merchandise. Buyers get a Macca the Gator figure and magnetic mirror, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag, a New Era snapback hat, a shot glass, a swizzle spoon, a razor blade keychain, pins, stickers, and a double-sided poster featuring a map of Leonida.
The collection has already received criticism from some fans due to its high price and selection of items. Another major complaint is that neither Jason nor Lucia, the two main protagonists of GTA 6, are featured prominently in the merchandise. That has made the newly revealed creator package stand out even more. Reactions to TmarTn’s unboxing include players saying they would rather receive the simpler collection of clothing and accessories than spend $400 on the official Collector’s Edition.
