The world’s biggest computing tech show, Computex 2025, has kicked off in Taipei, with some of the industry’s biggest names, including Nvidia, already delivering their keynote presentations. That leaves AMD, whose press conference is scheduled for May 21. While it's not an official Computex keynote, Team Red promises to showcase its business plans for the PC market directly from Taiwan.
Interestingly, AMD CEO Lisa Su won't be headlining the event. Instead, the spotlight will be on Jack Huynh, AMD's Senior Vice President of the Computing and Graphics Group. In a post on X last month, Huynh confirmed he'll be taking the stage in Taipei to “unveil groundbreaking AI advancements that are redefining gaming, PCs, and professional workloads.”

We don't know exactly what AMD will announce during the event, but ongoing leaks, rumors, and a recent tweet from AMD's Gaming division all signal that the new RX 9060 XT is one to look forward to. If that's the case, we can expect pricing details, a launch date, and official performance benchmarks.
So far, leaks suggest the RX 9060 XT will come in 8GB and 16GB variants and will feature higher clock speeds than the 9070 series. Beyond that, in line with this year's Computex theme, we can also expect a strong focus on AI from AMD.
