How to get the Nintendo Switch 2 for $100 cheaper this Black Friday
Table of Contents
We didn’t really expect the Nintendo Switch 2 to get a Black Friday deal in its first year of release, and you’ll notice that most retailers continue to list it at full price. However, there is one way to grab the latest-gen console for $100 cheaper right now, as long as you’re a member of Sam’s Club. Even if you include the price of the membership, you’re still saving some cash.
The membership-only wholesale retailer is a great place to score a deal. So, if you’re a member and have been eyeing on the Switch 2 this Black Friday, perhaps as a gift for the holiday season, Sam’s Club is one of your best options for a discount. The annual membership for Sam’s Club is $50 (or $110 for the Plus tier, though that’s not necessary for this Switch 2 deal).
Get the Nintendo Switch 2 with a discount at Sam’s Club
This money-saving method was spotted at Slickdeals and focuses on the Mario Kart World bundle, rather than just the console on its own, though we don’t see why you can’t use the same method for other Nintendo store products. Usually priced at $499.99, you can grab the console and game bundle for just $399.90.
- Become a Sam’s Club member, if you aren’t already
- Purchase 5x $100 Nintendo eShop gift cards at Sam’s Club (currently reduced to $79.98 each until December 1)
- Redeem the $500 worth of eShop currency on Nintendo’s website
- Once the credit is in your account, you can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle here
Thanks to the discount on the codes right now, you’re paying just $399.90 for a total of $500 worth of Nintendo Shop currency. Sam’s Club allows a maximum of five codes per order, per membership, so don’t see this as some kind of infinite money glitch. Sam’s Club may take up to 48 hours to send the gift card codes to your email.
Even if you include the $50 Sam’s Club membership, this is still a net saving, and then you can continue shopping for deals at Sam’s Club for the next 12 months.

The Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle costs $499.99 on the Nintendo Store, while the system alone is $449.99. We don’t expect to see the console included in any Black Friday sales if you buy it directly. This official US Nintendo Store is running its ‘Cyber Deals’ sale until December 3, which includes discount prices on a wide range of games.
