Press release in full
Amsterdam, 5 November 2026 – For the gamer building their setup, the student working towards the next deadline or the creative editing the latest photos, a monitor can be a gift they use every day. This holiday season, Philips Monitors offers gift ideas for loved ones who enjoy gaming, photography, or need a screen for work and study.
Study and entertainment on a smaller desk
A separate monitor adds screen space for coursework and video lessons when studying on a laptop. The Philips 24E1N1100A provides a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS screen for keeping a working document open alongside material on a compatible laptop. Built-in stereo speakers provide audio for lessons and videos without adding separate speakers to the desk.
Photo editing and everyday work
The Philips 27E2N1500L focusses on everyday work and study. Its 27-inch QHD screen lets users keep windows with reference material open alongside an assignment or arrange applications side by side. Its IPS panel helps maintain a consistent picture when viewed from an angle, useful when showing work to a classmate or colleague, and EasyRead mode offers a paper-like reading experience.
Photos, design projects, and everyday documents also benefit from a detailed view. The Philips 27E1N1800AE offers a 27-inch 4K UHD display for viewing or editing hi-res images and reading sharp text. Its IPS panel maintains consistent colours across wide viewing angles, while the height-adjustable stand helps users set the screen at a comfortable height. It works well for someone whose home desk serves both work and leisure use.
Fast gameplay, vivid visuals
The Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L combines QD-OLED image quality with a 240 Hz refresh rate on a 26.5-inch QHD screen. It works for players who enjoy both competitive matches and games with detailed environments, bringing smooth motion, deep blacks, and vibrant colour to their gaming desk.
A compatible PC delivering high frame rates helps players make the most of the refresh rate. NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible technology helps reduce screen tearing when connected to a compatible NVIDIA graphics card over DisplayPort.
A wider view of the game
The Philips Evnia 49M2C8900 offers a curved 49-inch SuperWide display with a 32:9 aspect ratio and Dual QHD (5120 x 1440) resolution. In PC games that support this format, the wider screen gives players a broad, continuous view of racing circuits and game environments.
Its QD-OLED panel delivers deep blacks and vivid colours, while AI-enhanced Ambiglow adjusts the colour and brightness of the ambient lighting behind the monitor to match on-screen content. It is a great fit for gaming enthusiasts looking to fully immerse themselves in their favourite game worlds.
