Computex next week is going to be a very busy time for the graphics card giants. Announcements are expected from Nvidia and AMD. Not to be left out, it seems that Intel has also been quietly working on a new entry into its GPU product lineup, as revealed by the website of Intel board partner Maxsun.
Despite months of silence, earlier this week, a report suggested that Intel had plans to unveil a new entry into its Intel Arc ‘Battlemage' line of graphics cards at Computex. This came from Intel's official Twitter/X account, which said clearly that new ‘Arc Pro' GPUs were on the way.
Board partner Maxsun lists Arc Pro B60 on its website
Intel board partner Maxsun had added a new category on its website for the Arc Pro B60. No graphics cards were listed under this category yet, and it could be an error or a placeholder. Yet the timing of its appearance is suspicious.
The posts from Intel earlier in the week showed some indication that an announcement of the long-rumored B770 GPU might be imminent, but that card is notably missing from this product listing. Maxsun has not given any indication that it is working on the B770, however, rumors and leaks do suggest that it is developing a 24GB version of the Intel Arc B580.
Other unsubstantiated rumours suggest that a dual-GPU model featuring the BMG-G21 GPU chip might be in the works, but it is unknown if this will be designated as B580 or B60. Even if this model is in development, it is unlikely to be aimed at the consumer market.
Despite the lack of specific details, this new listing does seem to lend weight to the idea that new new Intel Arc GPU will be launching soon.
