Apple’s new foldable smartphone has finally arrived, and it’s officially called the iPhone Duo, so we can ditch the previous ‘iPhone Fold’ and ‘iPhone Ultra‘ names we saw floating around online ahead of its official unveiling. It will be available to pre-order on October 16, which is more than a month after the new iPhone 18 series phones (the Pro and Pro Max).
All of Apple’s upcoming smartphones were introduced during its September 2026 Apple Event. It was the very first major outing for new CEO John Ternus and also showcased the new AirPods 5 earbuds and updates to the Apple Watch range. With some time to wait before you can actually order the iPhone Duo, we’ve put together a list of the best retailers in advance.
- Pre order date: October 16
- Release date:Â October 23
- Starting price: $1,999 USD / £1,999 GBP / $2,999 CAD

When can you pre order the iPhone Duo?
