After being unveiled at Computex last month, the official release of AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors is just over a week away. So far, AMD has shared detailed specifications of the upcoming CPUs as well as release dates. Plus we have seen some impressive benchmarks for the processors as well.

AMD has already announced that Ryzen 9000, as well as the Ryzen 9 5900XT and Ryzen 7 5700XT CPUs, will be rolled out on July 31st. To add to this, a well-known leaker has shared the exact time when the CPUs will go on sale, supposedly.

US customers might want to wake up early for the 9000 series

As per Hoang Anh Phu's post on X, the Ryzen 9000 series sales will go live at 9 AM ET on July 31st. AnhPhuH's post simply says “9AM ET,” which was in response to X user harukaze5719's initial post asking about the Zen 5 CPU's exact release time.

While AMD has confirmed the July 31st release date, the company has not made any statements about the exact time of launch. In fact, the prices of the processors were also not shared. But retailers in some regions listed the CPUs on their websites, revealing prices.  On July 31st, we will see AMD releasing the AMD 9000 lineup, which includes Ryzen 9 9950X, Ryzen 9 9900X,  Ryzen 7 9700X, and Ryzen 5 9600X. Along with these, AMD will also be rolling two new 5000 series CPUs, the Ryzen 9 5900XT and Ryzen 7 5700XT for their AM4 socket.

With the launch of Zen 5 CPUs nearing, prices of AMD's last-gen processors, the 7000 and 5000 series, have dropped drastically. For instance, at the moment, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and the Ryzen 9 7900X are selling at $409.00 and $358.57 respectively on Amazon.
