LG G6 OLED TV pre order & where to buy in the US, UK, and Canada
Table of Contents
Months after its announcement at CES 2026, LG is all prepared to launch the LG G6 OLED TV. Pre-orders are already live, and the new premium G6 model actually starts shipping a week after the LG C6 OLED, the company’s mid-range offering. The G6 is available in six different sizes, with the majority of them shipping at the end of March.
We’re sure the LG G6 OLED will be one of the best OLED TVs of the year – we had the chance to review the LG G5 OLED TV last year and were incredibly impressed with what it has to offer, so the generational improvements in the latest 2026 model will only bring it to a new level. If you’re looking to buy one, here’s where to look in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
- Pre order date: March 5
- Release date:Â From March 30 (depends on model)
- Starting price: $2,499.99 (USD) / $2,999.99 (CAD)
- What is it? The latest premium display OLED TV from LG, as part of its 2026 range. Available in sizes ranging between 55-inch and 97-inch.
- Features: 2nd-gen RGB Tandem OLED with Hyper Radiant Color tech (excluding 48″ and 97″ models), 165Hz refresh rate, Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor, up to 20% brighter than the last-gen G5 OLED.
- Latest update:Â After unveiling the G6 OLED at CES 2026 in January, LG made it available for pre-order weeks ahead of the release date.
When were LG G6 OLED TV pre orders made available?
Just like the mid-range C6 OLED televisions, the LG G6 became available for pre-order on March 5. Most G6 models will be shipping from March 30, excluding the 83-inch and 97-inch sizes, which will ship to customers on May 11 and April 20, respectively. All dates are based on what we can currently see on the official LG store.

You may also notice that the 48-inch model is currently omitted – it’s not even on the official store, so we have no confirmation for when that one will be available to purchase. In any case, now that pre-orders have been out for a while, customers have had plenty of time to reserve their television, and the full release is just around the corner.

LG G6 OLED TV – UK retailers
We’re yet to see pre-orders available for the LG G6 OLED in the United Kingdom. Instead, LG still only has a ‘Register now’ page for those looking to register their interest in the new 2026 TVs. Registration ends on April 7, so we may learn more about the UK release around that time.

LG G6 OLED TV – Canada retailers
We usually see Canada get the short end of the stick as far as hardware launches go, but LG has already listed them on its official store – a few models are also available on Amazon.
How much does the LG G6 OLED TV cost?
We could only estimate how the various sizes of the G6 OLED would cost prior to LG launching pre-orders. So, now we have a fuller picture of the pricing, but there’s still some obvious gaps. As we said earlier, pricing in the UK is yet to be established due to a lack of pre-orders or a shipping date, but we expect to learn more sometime in April. Some sizes remain unavailable in the US and Canada, too, but here’s what we know so far:
| Model size | United States (USD) | UK (GBP) | Canada (CAD) |

| 48-inch | — | — | — |
| 55-inch | $2,499.99 | — | $2,999.99 |

How much better is the LG G6 OLED TV compared to the G5?
This year’s G-series offering comes with a brand-new selling point – Hyper Radiant Color Tech. This is thanks to the 2nd-generation RGB Tandem OLED panel featured in the majority of the models, aside from the smallest (48″) and largest (97″) models. LG says this panel offers 3.9x higher brightness than a traditional OLED (found in the budget-friendly B-Series) and claims the G6 OLED is 20% brighter than last year’s G5 OLED, with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. For comparison, in our G5 review last year, we achieved a peak of 2,519.7 nits (10% size window), running in the HDR ‘Filmmaker Mode’ preset.
The G6 and G5 both offer a fast 165Hz refresh rate, with support for AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync, so no changes there. It does come with a new Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor, promising to deliver faster performance across the board. It offers particular AI-related improvements, such as upscaling lower-resolution content up to the native 4K screen resolution.
