It’s that time of year when LG starts to release its new (2026) TVs. First up, we have the massively popular C-Series OLED, and we already know that the LG OLED C6 will be arriving a week ahead of the more premium G6 models. Pre-orders are live, so if you’re looking to pick one up as soon as possible, we can point you in the right direction.

We haven’t got our hands on it yet for review, but we’re sure the C6 will position itself as one of the best OLED TVs this year. As for the actual LG C6 OLED TV release date, shipping dates will vary depending on the model you opt for, though the most popular sizes are just around the corner. Here’s where you can find one in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

✓ LG C6 OLED TV at a glance
  • Pre order date: March 5
  • Release date: From March 23 (depending on model size)
  • Starting price: $1,399.99
  • What is it? LG’s latest generation of mid-range C-series OLED TV, announced at CES 2026 and available in sizes ranging from 42-inch to 77-inch.
  • Features: 165Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms response time OLED evo AI, RGB Tandem OLED with Hyper Radiant Color Tech (77″ and 83″ models), Brightness Boost Pro, Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3.
  • Latest update: LG unveiled the C6 OLED at CES in January. It has since launched pre-orders, well in advance of the release date, and the new OLED TVs are due to ship soon.

When did LG C6 OLED TV pre orders go live?

We started seeing C6 pre-orders on LG’s official US store early in the month, on March 5. With many models shipping as early as March 23, that gives you a good amount of time to reserve your 2026 model television. As we said before, the C6 arrives before the more premium (and more expensive) G6 OLED, while LG’s new ‘Wallpaper’ W6 OLED is likely to arrive in a few months’ time.

LG C6 OLED TV – US retailers

Starting in the US, here are some of the best retailers that we’d recommend. Of course, the official LG store is the earliest to get pre-orders, but it won’t be the only place you can pick one up.

How much does the LG C6 OLED TV cost?

With so many different sizes to consider, the price of the LG C6 OLED varies massively. For example, in the US, there’s nearly $4,000 of difference between the smallest 42″ and largest 83″ models. We’ve put together all the official prices (based on the LG store) below for the US and Canada, and will add UK pricing details once those are confirmed.

Differences between the LG C6 and LG C5

We reviewed the LG C5 OLED TV last year, and hope to do the same with the C6 once it’s available. For now, we can compare some of the key specs and features, as well as what we’ve heard from LG in the build-up to the release date. From the 42″ to 65″ sizes, the C6 is still fitted with its standard WOLED panel found in the C5.

However, for the 77″ and 83″ models (also known as LG C6H), owners will enjoy the new RGB Tandem OLED Panel with Hyper Radiant Color Tech for higher peak brightness. All C6 models have also been upgraded to 165Hz, a decent lift above the 144Hz max refresh rate found in last gen. The newer Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3 also promises improved performance – LG claims a 50% faster CPU, 70% faster GPU, and 5x better AI performance with a dedicated NPU.

Generally speaking, upgrading one generation up isn’t usually worth it with these TVs, as they offer incremental improvements with each year that passes, especially six generations into the C-series’ life. Of course, if you want the best of what the C-series has to offer, then upgrading to the C6 is your only option, and the two largest models enjoy the biggest improvement.
