Google is getting ready to host its annual Made by Google event, where the company showcases its latest hardware and gives us a look at some of the new products coming to its ecosystem. And for those looking forward to this year’s event, the wait will soon be over, as Made by Google 2026 is scheduled to take place today, on August 12.

Made by Google 2026 start time

According to Google, the event will begin at 3 PM Pacific Time. Of course, due to time zone differences, the start time will be different depending on where you live, so we’ve rounded up a bunch of regions to compare:

  • Los Angeles – 3:00 PM PT
  • New York – 6:00 PM ET
  • London – 11:00 PM BST
  • Berlin – 12:00 AM CEST (August 13)
  • Tokyo – 7:00 AM JST (August 13)
  • Sydney – 8:00 AM AEST (August 13)
  • Auckland – 10:00 AM NZST (August 13)

We’ve also added a countdown clock below, tracking the start time down to the second; it will disappear once it expires.

What to expect from Made by Google 2026

The biggest focus of the event is expected to be Google’s next smartphone lineup. The company is preparing to showcase the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The phones are expected to keep much of the design of the current generation, with the main changes coming to their internal hardware. In fact, these phones have already been made available to pre-order on the official Google Store, so you can check them out early.

Google Pixel 11 smartphones are already on the Google Store, hours before Made By Google kicks off.

The Tensor G6 is one of the biggest upgrades. Reports suggest it could be Google’s first chip made using TSMC’s 2nm process. The phones will reportedly also get a MediaTek M90 modem to bring improvements to connectivity, heat, and battery life.

The Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to make an appearance (also up for pre-order now). It could retain the same overall design while getting a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Google could also announce a new olive green version of the Pixel Buds Pro 2, rather than a new generation of earbuds. Another announcement is the Pixel Tag, an AirTag-style tracker that could work with Google’s Find Hub network; the store says this is coming in November 2026.

Lastly, we expect to see more about the Googlebook. However, hardware may not be the only focus. Gemini Intelligence is also expected to play a major role at the event, with Google reportedly preparing new AI features designed to make its devices more useful.
