If you’ve been planning to build your own gaming PC or upgrade the components of your existing one, then you’re in luck. This is because while PC components, especially the ones that are meant for gaming, can be expensive, Micro Center is offering a Ryzen X3D bundle through which you can save over $170 on three components.

However, it is important to keep in mind that the bundle is limited to in-store pickup only, so you can not get it delivered straight to your door. Still, it’s a pretty solid deal for those who live near a Microcenter branch.

What does the Micro Center Ryzen X3D bundle offer?

There are a total of three components included in the bundle – a CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Check out this bundle over on the Micro Center website if you’re looking for a bargain for your upcoming AM5 PC build.

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X3D

The bundle offers the Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor, a budget option in the 7000 series X3D lineup. This processor was previously believed to be limited to the US only. However, recent reports suggest that it is apparently going to launch globally.

In any case, the Ryzen 5 7600X3D is a great option for those who are tight on a budget but still want a processor that can deliver solid performance in gaming. It boasts 6 cores and 12 threads, paired with a base clock speed of 4.1 GHz, which can go up to 4.4 GHz under load. The CPU also has a fairly low TDP of only 65W, so you don’t have to worry about pairing it with a beefy PSU. Being an X3D processor means that it has more L3 cache available, which can help improve the gaming performance. However, do keep in mind that X3D processors are mainly for gaming and they’re not recommended for productivity.

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650 Plus WiFi

For the 7600X3D processor, Micocenter has included an ASUS TUF Gaming B650 Plus WiFi motherboard in the bundle. This motherboard offers an all-black theme, with a slight touch of yellow at different spots. Just by looking at it, you can tell that it has been designed while keeping gamers in mind.

The TUF Gaming B650 Plus offers the AM5 socket, so it is compatible with Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. On top of that, it comes with a solid VRM system in the form of 12+2 teamed power stages, 8+4 ProCool sockets, alloy chokes, and durable capacitors. These should help prevent stability and performance issues.

On the motherboard, you’ll find four slots for DDR5 RAM, which can support a maximum capacity of 128 GB. Other than that, it offers a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and 4-pin fan headers. For storage, there are three M.2 slots – two PCIe 4.0 and one PCIe 5.0.

The TUF Gaming B650 Plus also offers a decent cooling system in the form of an enlarged VRM and PCH heatsinks, as well as M.2 heatsinks. These should help keep the motherboard cool, especially during extended sessions. For connectivity, there are plenty of ports on the side of the motherboard, such as an HDMI and Display Port, USB ports, audio jacks, and a 2.5G Ethernet port.

Ram: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB

Finally, we have the G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5 RAM. The bundle comes with two 16 GB sticks, each with a speed of up to 6000 MHz. 32 GB of RAM should be more than enough for the latest games, and this much memory can also help improve the system’s performance in multitasking.

A solid bundle with a good price

If you buy the three components individually, you’ll have to spend a total of $630. However, thanks to the Micro Center bundle, you can get all three of them for only $450, helping you save around $180. The money you’ll save through the offer can be used to buy other components, such as the case, PSU, CPU cooler, and GPU.

For better temps, we recommend getting one of the best Airflow PC cases, which you can pair with some of the best 140mm case fans. In other news, Micro Center is also offering a Ryzen 9000 series bundle, which can also help you grab three cruical components for only $350.
