MSI's X870 motherboard to get a better BIOS interface ‘Click BIOS X’
According to the latest reports from IT Home, MSI’s X870 series motherboards will be based on a new ESA Architecture Design. The motherboard will also have a tweaked user interface, built-in themes, and easier access to overclocking features. Plus, users will be able to switch between simple and advanced modes quite easily.
To start with, the motherboard will feature an upgraded BIOS interface – the CLICK BIOS X, which is similar to the CLICK BIOS 5 interface. With this, users get a new hardware monitor that displays key hardware components like CPU, memory, and GPU.
Then, we have the Performance Preset function, which lets users set the power limit with PBO Auto and PBO Enable levels. Further, users also get a smart button, which can reset the computer, safe boot, turbo fan, and EZ LED control with just one click.
Another highlight here is the EZ overclocking, which offers three modes – Game Boost, AI Boost, and EXPO. As per the report, this new feature is supposed to provide one-click overclocking, but we don't know all the details yet.
To sum it up, here's what the MSI's upcoming X870 motherboards with CLICK BIOS X will feature:
- ESA Architecture Design
- Five built-in themes
- EZ Overclocking
- Easy switch between simple and advanced mode
- New and improved user interface
- Favorites Profiles and Security Features
As we reported earlier today, it is speculated that manufacturers like MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock, and Asus will be releasing X870 and X870E motherboards on September 30th.
