Nvidia fans are currently looking forward to the RTX 50-series GPUs, which are expected to offer significant improvements over the previous lineup. Nvidia hasn’t shared any official details yet, but in the past few months, several leaks have appeared on the surface. And the latest one, which comes from a reliable leaker, has revealed the specifications of the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070.

RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 specs leaked

The leak comes from Kopite7Kimi, a reliable leaker known for correctly predicting Nvidia product details in the past. The leak reveals important specs like the board name, GPU die, CUDA cores, VRAM, and TBP for both the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070.

Here’s what the leaked specs tell us about each card:

RTX 5070 Ti

  • Board: PG147-SKU60
  • GPU Die: GB203-300-A1
  • CUDA Cores: 8,960
  • VRAM: 16 GB GDDR7, 256-bit
  • TBP: 300W

RTX 5070

  • Board: PG146-SKU70
  • GPU Die: GB205-300-A1
  • CUDA Cores: 6,144
  • VRAM: 12 GB GDDR7, 192-bit
  • TBP: 250W

As you can see above, the RTX 5070 Ti is expected to offer more VRAM than its predecessor, the 4070 Ti, along with GDDR7 memory. Despite these improvements, it comes with only a 15W higher TBP. On the other hand, the RTX 5070 will have the same VRAM size as its predecessor but a better memory type. Additionally, it will feature a 50W higher TBP. This may disappoint some, especially those who were hoping for a memory upgrade with the RTX 5070.

In any case, it is important to keep in mind that these are not official specs, so you should take them with a pinch of salt. Nvidia is expected to reveal the RTX 50-series during the CES 2025 event, which will kick off in the first week of January.
