For some PC enthusiasts, keeping massive desktop setups with multiple displays and a surround sound system to complement a colossal gaming tower often isn’t practical. Luckily, Minisforum has come up with the perfect solution for those with limited space with its HN14X mini-PC. This diminutive machine boasts a highly convenient compact form factor, an RTX 4070 GPU, and a robust Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU, which can undoubtedly handle any task you throw at it.

In addition, you can equip this deceptively powerful mini-PC with up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and two M.2 2280 SSDs, giving you a machine that can not only play the latest games but also easily hold them. The HN14X also supports Wi-Fi 7 and an Ethernet connection, allowing you to grind out ranks in competitive games easily. Despite its high-end specs, though, keep in mind that its small stature means a less-than-ideal cooling system. So, you may need to be wary of putting it through its paces, especially if you plan on doing graphically demanding tasks or partaking in prolonged gaming sessions with it.

Unfortunately, according to an article from Notebookcheck, the HN14X is only slated for release in Germany. However, with most Minisforum products available worldwide, it may only be a matter of time before Minisforum makes an announcement for its global launch. It’s also worth noting that Minisforum has yet to specify its price or the exact date as of writing, though we will, of course, provide more details once available.

In the meantime, if you can’t wait for its arrival, we suggest checking out the best CPU for gaming in 2024 and the best GPUs in 2024 so you know how this mini-PC’s specs compare to high-end desktop setups.
