Nvidia is one of the most valuable tech companies in the world today, but it started as a small startup founded by friends. Now, it's a trillion-dollar giant powering everything from PC gaming to the biggest names in AI. While competitors have tried to challenge its position, Nvidia's dominance in the GPU space remains largely untouched, and its influence keeps growing.

In recent years, Nvidia has become a major force in the AI boom, with models like ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini trained on thousands of Nvidia GPUs. Even as a company long associated with gaming GPUs, Nvidia continues to shift focus toward AI. We've seen an example of this change with their latest RTX 50 series GPUs, where the traditional performance gains may not have impressed everyone, but the AI enhancements are hard to ignore.

So what's Nvidia's secret?

Turns out, it's all about the approach. At the 2025 Edison Awards in Fort Myers, Florida, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang shared his insights about the rapid pace of innovation we’ve seen from the company. During the discussion, Huang shared an interesting perspective, saying:

“When artificial intelligence came along, self-driving cards came along, now robotics came along; the attitude of the company is: how hard could it be? It turns out it’s super hard. In every single case it’s turned out it was super hard, but almost every single time in my mind we’re probably about three textbooks away.”

And that attitude is what has helped Nvidia become the tech giant they are now. Sure, Nvidia has taken some hits with recent products, with the RTX 50 series lineup struggling to generate as much of a positive response as AMD's RX 9070 series. Still, their innovation in the AI sector is hard to ignore and shows that the team continues to push boundaries, just as we saw with their recent AI roadmap reveal.
