Nvidia data center revenue up 10x in two years and shows no sign of slowing, especially now H20 is unbanned

Quarterly revenue for Nvidia’s data center sector shows no sign of slowing so far this year. Based on data from Fiscal.ai, an investment research platform, the company’s data center revenue has improved by more than 10x in the past two years. It’s no secret that Nvidia has massively benefited from the AI boom; the company is essentially powering most of the world’s AI, from xAI’s Colossus supercomputer and (reportedly) Apple’s AI ventures.
A couple of months ago, Nvidia even announced record gaming revenue, but it was nothing compared to the $39.1 billion sum generated from its data centers. The next Nvidia earnings date is late August, confirmed for the 27th of the month by Wall Street Horizon. And now that its H20 AI chip has been unbanned in China, we can expect even more growth. Nvidia stock surged following the unban announcement earlier this month.
Nvidia data center revenue is up 10x in the past two years
Full data center revenue from January 2023 to April 2025 shows Nvidia’s consistent growth in the sector. The graph below shows that revenue has improved 10x in the last two years. We can only wait for the July 2025 results. Despite setbacks in the Chinese market due to bans on its H20 AI chips and even having to manufacture a third version of the RTX 5090 to comply with restrictions – the RTX 5090D v2 – growth has been steady following an initial burst in 2023.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has obviously benefited from the growth, raking in a $49.9 million pay package this year. He also recently claimed that he has made more billionaires than “any CEO in the world”. Last month, it was confirmed that Nvidia would no longer include China in revenue forecasts, but we’ll have to see if this change is solidified now that restrictions are being lifted.
