Nvidia says its new RTX Spark Superchip “reinvents Windows PCs” for gamers, creators, and more

Previously codenamed Nvidia N1X, made in partnership with MediaTek, Nvidia has finally unveiled its new Superchip, now known as the RTX Spark. The announcement arrived at this year’s Computex in Taipei, with the ARM chip practically being a modified version of the Nvidia DGX Spark launched late last year. The RTX Spark comes with support for Windows PCs.
Nvidia says RTX Spark is here to reinvent Windows PCs, with, of course, AI in mind. We think it’s fair to make comparisons between RTX Spark and Apple Silicon chips. The iPhone creator left behind its previous Intel-powered x86 Macs in favor of ARM-based processors (the M-series) to unlock even greater performance on the Mac ecosystem.
RTX Spark announced at Computex 2026
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says RTX Spark will run “every single application Nvidia has ever created, and every single application that Windows has ever run” – adding that the company teamed up with Microsoft to “meticulously” optimize for the ARM architecture.

“This is the most amazing chip the world has ever built. This is the N1X that we built in partnership with MediaTek. This is a beautiful chip. This is a chip that, frankly, would take 33 years to build. And the reason for that is because 100% of Nvidia software stack runs here.”
Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO and Co-founder during GTC Taipei 2026 Keynote
As part of the GTC keynote, Huang also unveiled a whole host of RTX Spark laptops, available in Fall 2026. Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI are listed as partners. Nvidia unveiled “Three revolutionary Windows machines” powered by RTX Spark – covering desktop, laptop, and workstation. Along with full-sized desktops, the range includes a mini PC configurations, which draw obvious comparisons to the Mac mini series.
