During the first week of this month, both the RTX 5070 and 5060 Ti dropped below MSRP at a popular retailer, giving gamers a chance to upgrade without paying extra to scalpers. And now, the RTX 5070 Ti, a card that sits within the mid-high range as a more powerful version of the non-Ti model, is also available below MSRP at two popular retailers.
- Palit RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GamingPro – £699.98 at SCAN
- Gainward RTX 5070 Ti Phoenix-S 16GB – £699.95 at Overclockers UK

Two RTX 5070 Ti models are available below MSRP at popular retailers
The first card is the Palit RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GamingPro, currently available at SCAN for £699.98. For those unaware, the official MSRP for the 5070 Ti is £729, so SCAN is offering it for £30 less. The second model is the Gainward RTX 5070 Ti Phoenix-S 16GB, which is also priced at £699.95 on Overclockers UK. We’re not sure how long these prices will last, so it's a good idea to grab them while you can.
The RTX 5070 Ti comes equipped with 8,960 CUDA cores, 1,280 more than its predecessor, the 4070 Ti. Aside from that, it offers 16GB of GDDR7 memory with a bandwidth of 896.0 GB/s. As far as the speeds are concerned, these models operate at a base frequency of 2,295 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2,452 MHz for demanding tasks. All of these specifications, paired with the latest DLSS and RTX technologies, make the RTX 5070 Ti a solid GPU for 1440p or 4K gaming and other GPU-intensive tasks.
When the RTX 50-series cards were first launched, they were pretty difficult to get. There were continuous stock-related issues, and scalpers were taking advantage of the situation. For instance, at one point, the RTX 5090 was being sold for over $6,000, which is way above its MSRP of $1,999. However, in recent times, we’ve seen these cards drop below MSRP at some retailers. In fact, the RTX 5090 was selling for less than its MSRP just a few days ago, and we expect to see similar price drops for the other cards in the coming months.
