The first-ever Black Friday sale on Steam has arrived. Valve usually runs the Autumn Sale at this time of the year, but the 2025 Autumn Sale was much earlier than expected (ending on October 6), leaving us with no big sales event between then and the Winter sale. Black Friday has arrived to fill in that gap. Along with game sales, the 256GB LCD Steam Deck is 20% cheaper.

The Steam store has a wide range of game discounts live right now. Steam’s Black Friday sale even includes a 15% discount on the recently released Battlefield 6. Another deal we expect to be popular is the 85% discount on Hogwarts Legacy.

Steam Deck for $319.20 on the official Steam store

The 256GB LCD Steam Deck has dropped from $399.00 to just $319.20. This deal is available until the end of the month, so it aligns with most other Black Friday deals happening this holiday season. December 1 is when Cyber Monday takes place this year, and when the Steam Black Friday sales come to a close.

Sadly, neither of the OLED models are discounted, though this is not a massive surprise. Valve seldom sells them for cheaper than full price; the refurbished models that launched last year were your best bet if you wanted to get one for less than $450.

According to SteamDB, the $319.20 price tag matches the all-time low price for the 256GB LCD model, so it’s a great time to buy one if you’re finally looking to invest in the popular handheld. Now that Valve has announced brand-new gaming hardware like the upcoming Steam Machine, it seems like we’ll be waiting a while for a Steam Deck 2 to become a reality. Most recent speculation places the sequel handheld launch as late as 2028.
