Introducing the Philiips 34B2U5900C, and brand-new ultrawide monitor boasting a large 5K2K (5120 x 2160) native resolution. It’s an impressive curved 21:9 panel that also enjoys a native 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, Dual Mode fuctionality allows users to drop down to 2560 x 1080 (ultrawide FHD) if they wish to double the refresh rate up to 240Hz.

Dual Mode monitors have become relatively commonplace in the gaming space, and gaming brands have upped the ante recently by even introducing Triple-Mode displays; MSI celebrated the “world’s first” specification during Computex 2026 a few months back. In any case, Philip’s new 5K2K panel targets a much more professional-focused market, despite the high refresh rates.
