Fans of Gears of War can now pre-order a full-scale replica of one of the franchise’s most recognizable weapons. The Prototype Lancer Replica is now listed on the official Xbox Store, giving collectors a chance to add a 1:1 version of the iconic COG weapon to their collection. The impressive piece of merch is priced at $299.99 (USD) / £223.00 (GBP).
The replica has been created to celebrate the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day, which takes place during the early days of the Locust emergence. According to the product listing, the replica was precision-molded using in-game assets, with details such as the bolts, vents, and welds recreated to stay as close to the game’s design as possible.
It also features a custom hand-painted “E-Day” battle-worn finish, giving the Lancer a weathered appearance that matches the game’s setting. The replica comes with a minimalist ABS display stand, making it more suitable as a display piece rather than something players would simply store away.

The new $300 Lancer will arrive after Gears of War E-Day launches
The Lancer measures 36 inches long, 14 inches high, and 8 inches wide, while weighing around 6 pounds. It is made using ABS and PVC materials and is designed as a full-scale collectible. The replica costs $299 and is currently available for pre-order. However, there is a specific shipping schedule to keep in mind.
Microsoft says the first batch of Lancers sold out and is scheduled to ship in November 2026. New pre-orders placed after 1:15 PM PDT on August 20 will instead be part of the second batch, which is currently estimated to ship in February 2027. This means buyers placing an order now will have to wait longer to receive the replica. Gears of War: E-Day will launch on October 6, so fans may be waiting several months to get the 1:1 model after the game launches.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that the Xbox Store also has a special restriction for this product. Due to shipping requirements, the Lancer must be purchased by itself, meaning you cannot include another item in the same order.
