Pulsar releases new Noctua-cooled gaming mouse to “combat sweaty palms with maximum airflow”
Table of Contents
Pulsar and Noctua have officially partnered to launch a unique new gaming mouse that takes cooling in an entirely new direction. Called the Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition, the new mouse features a built-in Noctua cooling fan that actively blows air onto your hand while you play, helping reduce sweat during long gaming sessions.
The companies say the mouse is designed to “combat sweaty palms with maximum airflow” while still delivering the performance expected from a high-end esports gaming mouse. We actually saw it first unveiled in May 2025 (at Computex), and it was originally due to launch in November the same year. Needless to say, it faced some delays – but it’s finally here.
Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition is now available
The new model is based on Pulsar’s flagship Feinmann F01 gaming mouse but replaces the traditional sealed design with a highly perforated carbon-composite shell. This lightweight exoskeleton allows air from an integrated Noctua NF-A4x10 40mm fan to flow directly onto the user’s palm, helping keep hands cool and maintain a secure grip even during intense competitive matches.

As for price, the Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition is available starting today through Pulsar’s online store and authorized retailers. It carries a suggested retail price of $179.95 in the United States and €179.90 in Europe, though Pulsar is currently selling it for $215.94 on its official store.

According to Noctua CEO Roland Mossig, the idea came from Pulsar, and the company immediately saw its potential. He revealed that the first prototype attracted significant attention when it was showcased at Computex 2025, prompting both companies to move forward with full development. Noctua also carried out extensive testing to ensure the fan could withstand the forces generated by rapid mouse movements during competitive gaming.
Users aren’t locked into a single cooling mode, either. The built-in fan supports four different speed levels, and it can also be turned off completely. Fan settings can be adjusted through a button and wheel combination on the mouse, a dedicated button on the included wireless dongle, or through Pulsar’s web-based software. This allows users to choose between maximum airflow, quieter cooling, or no airflow at all, depending on their preferences. And despite including an internal cooling fan, the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition still weighs just 73 grams, making it one of the lighter gaming mice available in its class.
The good news is that performance hasn’t been sacrificed for the new cooling system. The mouse is equipped with Pulsar’s XS-2 optical sensor, offering up to 42,000 DPI, 800 IPS tracking speed, and an 8,000 Hz polling rate for fast and accurate input. Pulsar has also equipped the mouse with optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks, aiming to provide long-term durability for competitive players. The mouse also supports both wireless and wired operation. It includes an 8K wireless dongle for low-latency gaming, while the front-mounted USB-C port can be used for charging and wired gameplay.
