Pre-orders for the special edition ROG Xbox Ally X20 have gone live in the UK on ASUS’s official store, and they’re due to start at 6 AM Pacific Time in the US tomorrow (September 24). ASUS first unveiled the new X20 model during Computex in early June, showing it off in a bundle with the XREAL R1 gaming glasses (which we recently reviewed) – but you can buy them separately.

The bundle tacks on an additional $1,200 compared to buying the ROG Xbox Ally X20 standalone, but the new handheld isn’t cheap. It launches for $1,299, which is $300 more than the original Xbox Ally X launched in October last year. Along with the translucent shell, it also upgrades to an OLED panel, TMR joysticks, and a “transforming” D-Pad – all for the first time in an Ally handheld.

When do ROG Xbox Ally X20 pre orders start in the US?

As mentioned before, the new X20 handheld will be available to pre-order in the United States on September 24 from the official ASUS store. Over on Best Buy, the X20 standalone is actually already available to purchase, while the bundle is still listed as ‘Coming Soon’ (we assume it will be available tomorrow). Here’s how the pre-order start time looks across a range of US time zones:

• US Pacific Time – 6 AM
• US Mountain Time – 7 AM
• US Central Time – 8 AM
• US Eastern Time – 9 AM
