ASUS just unveiled a new ROG Ally gaming handheld at Computex. To celebrate 20 years of the ROG brand, ASUS has launched the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle, featuring an “upgraded” Xbox Ally model with a larger screen and OLED panel. The brand told us last year that an OLED variant had potential, so it’s nice to see it finally coming to fruition on its anniversary.
As part of the bundle, ASUS is shipping the new OLED Xbox Ally with its ROG XREAL R1 gaming glasses – a set of augmented reality (AR) glasses that give gamers access to a massive virtual screen. As well as pairing well with your gaming PC, the pair of gaming specs also pairs well with ROG Ally handhelds to unlock a much more immersive experience.
ROG Xbox Ally X20 specs revealed – OLED is the main upgrade
As the name would suggest, you can treat the new model as a 20th anniversary version of the ROG Xbox Ally X. Not only does it feature a special design to commemorate the milestone, but it also gets an improvement in the display department. Other key specs, such as the processor, RAM, storage, and battery capacity, remain the same.

The R1 AR gaming glasses that come bundled with the Ally X20 were announced at the start of the year, before becoming available for pre-order in mid-May.
