RTX 5070 drops well below MSRP in early Black Friday deal at popular US retailer
Table of Contents
We’ve spotted a great deal on the RTX 5070 in the run-up to Black Friday, which is just over a week away (though Amazon actually starts its sales early on November 20). In any case, if you head over to Walmart, you’ll see this GPU listed well below its MSRP, making it a great opportunity to pick one up for a bargain price.
Nvidia set the RTX 5070 MSRP at $549, but inflated prices ensured you would struggle to find one at that price in the months following its launch earlier this year. However, lately, it’s one of the graphics cards that has seen some big discounts. For instance, a recent Amazon deal sent the ASUS Prime RTX 5070 down from $609.99 to just $543. Walmart goes a leap further.
RTX 5070 deal at Walmart
Right now, the PNY RTX 5070 OC, which costs less than many other third-party models, is available for only $489.99 at Walmart, which is $60 cheaper than its original MSRP. While the card is currently in stock, we recommend acting fast, as deals like these don’t usually last long.

The RTX 5070 boasts 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, enough to help it run games smoothly at 1440p. On top of that, it can utilize DLSS 4‘s Multi Frame Generation, a feature exclusive to the RTX 50-series cards, designed to provide a large performance boost in supported games. DLSS 4 support proves to be a boon for gaming at 4K on the mid-range card. The PNY OC card offers a base clock speed of 2,325 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2,512 MHz.
The PNY OC edition also comes with some extra features. For instance, it offers a triple-fan design, which efficiently distributes and dissipates heat across the GPU surface for better thermals. On top of that, it also comes with a high-conductivity copper base, heat pipes, and an ultra-efficient dense heatsink design. All of these work together to keep temps low, even during long gaming and work sessions. You’ll also get access to PNY’s VelocityX software, which offers complete control over the card and helps you maximize its performance.
