It has been a busy month for Nvidia on its cloud gaming service, GeForce Now. The tech giant started rolling out its RTX 5080-level performance upgrade on September 10, with more regions joining in as we progress through the last quarter of 2025. Sadly, some regions will have to wait until 2026, but right now, there are a total of nine regions with support (Miami and Warsaw were added today).

On top of 5080 support being limited by region, there is also a limited number of games that are RTX 5080-ready on the platform. The good news is that this list is growing, and Nvidia has also announced two more for GFN users to jump into. The September upgrade includes up to 5K resolution support, 360 FPS streaming, and DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.

Portland and Ashburn are the next two regions

Nvidia regularly rolls out GeForce Now updates on Thursday, and the latest sees upcoming support confirmed for Portland and Ashburn – both regions in the U.S. Customers in the States already have 5080 ‘SuperPODS’ operating on San Jose, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Newark servers.

5080-Ready Servers Expand

Miami and Warsaw are the latest regions to get GeForce RTX 5080-class power, with Portland and Ashburn coming up next. Stay tuned to GeForce NOW Thursday for updates as more regions upgrade to Blackwell RTX. Those who want to follow along can track progress on the server rollout page for the latest.

We recommend keeping an eye on the GeForce Now Service Status page to understand which servers are being operated around the world, while keeping track of which are under maintenance or are 5080-enabled. Nvidia also maintains a handy world map on its website here.

You can find the full list of new GeForce Now games right here in Nvidia’s blog post. Since we’re on the topic of the RTX 5080 upgrade, it’s worth pointing out that two new 5080-ready games hit the platform this week: inZOI and Total War: Warhammer III.
