Sales statistics last month showed AMD graphics cards leading the pack, at least at popular German retailer Mindfactory, and new data from Amazon reveals a similar situation in the United States. Based on data covering July, AMD’s flagship Radeon RX 9070 XT was the best-selling GPU, followed by the RX 9060 XT. However, much like last month, Nvidia still comes out on top overall.

According to new data published by TechEpiphany, Nvidia graphics cards accounted for 57.39% of sales on Amazon US during July 2026, with AMD taking up 37.81% of the market share, leaving just 4.80% to Intel cards. With an average selling price (ASP) of $927 for Nvidia, propped up by the likes of the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090, total revenue eclipsed its rivals by more than $8M.

RX 9070 XT was the biggest seller on Amazon US, with over 15% of total sales

On Amazon US, the RX 9070 XT is available from ~$720 these days, making it over $100 more expensive than its original $599 MSRP at launch (in March 2025). Graphics card prices have suffered due to memory shortages and rising costs, and even entry-level GPUs fitted with lower amounts of VRAM are expected to experience “even more severe shortages” over the next year. Looking towards the high end, the RTX 5080 is now hundreds of dollars more expensive than its $999 launch price.

Nvidia enjoys close to 70% of the total revenue thanks to its higher average GPU prices; Intel sticks to more budget-friendly options like the Arc B580, while AMD strayed away from a true high-end successor to the RX 7900 XT and XTX, with this generation’s flagship a performance tier above the RTX 5070 as a close rival to the RTX 5070 Ti.

The current Amazon Best Sellers feature several RX 9070 XT and 9060 XT cards among the top spots, so we imagine August 2026 results will paint a similar picture. There are also a bunch of GPU support brackets in the top sellers, which are most commonly used for bulky high-end models. RTX 5090 GPUs sell for well over $4,000 these days, so you’d better secure it properly.
