Founder of the dev studio Liquid Swords, Christofer Sundberg, posted a “personal pre-launch letter” yesterday, offering some insight into the game’s development and scope. “This is our take on 90s action,” he says, and while he calls the comparisons to the GTA series (specifically GTA IV ) “a serious compliment,” he points out that Liquid Swords is a relatively small team with a tighter budget – and less scope.
Even still, in the post, Sunberg says players can enjoy “around 25 hours” of content at launch, with more to come – both paid and free. This even includes more characters on the way. He says the feedback the team has received so far has helped shape the game, and will continue to do so during the planned rollout of additional content.
