It’s almost time for the iPhone Duo to be released, and Apple has been updating its customers with some Apple Store delivery dates. Apple’s first foldable iPhone releases this Friday, October 23, and fans have been able to pre-order one since the 16th. Its launch comes shortly after the iPhone 18 series in September, and customers might have the new foldable in their hands next month.

Pre-order customers have started to report having their delivery dates moved forward. iPhone Duo deliveries were previously slated to arrive in December, leaving fans waiting more than a month to actually receive their device. Now, customers report orders moving up to late November. It seems to follow the “lukewarm” wait times of the iPhone 18 Pro & Pro Max last month.

iPhone Duo pre order customers say wait times have improved

Content creator Matt Gonzalez is one person we’ve seen report improved waiting times. He says it was previously listed for a December 7 delivery date, and now it’s expected somewhere between November 20 and November 30. Another customer, this time from Apple’s Japanese store, says their iPhone Duo is scheduled to arrive a day after release, on October 24.

While online wait times may have been reduced, it’s still fair from instant in the US. And if you expect to walk into an Apple store this Friday to pick up an iPhone Duo, think again. Reports suggest there is little-to-no in-store stock available, so it may not even be worth camping outside your local store. Of course, this may come down to availability in your specific region, but according to MacRumors, Apple employees say there is likely no stock available for walk-in purchases on launch day.

It seems demand for the iPhone Duo is incredibly high, or at the very least, Apple is struggling to keep up manufacturing it – especially given its impressive specs. The Duo features a 7.6″ full display and a 5.4″ outer display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s fitted with the Apple A20 Pro chip and launches as Apple’s most expensive iPhone ever – starting from $1,999 USD.
