With Computex 2026 slowly starting up, we’re getting looks at new tech launching and on the horizon. That includes some great new gaming monitors, as Samsung announced its new range of models. These new QD-OLED monitors combine a stunning 4K resolution with the speed of a 360Hz refresh rate.

As such, you no longer have to decide between a competitive high refresh rate or a higher resolution, since you can hardly find both. Well, now Samsung monitors have pushed the limits by optimizing panel circuitry and the driving system to combine the two.

Being a QD-OLED panel, as we’ve seen in our monitor reviews, it should provide a great visual experience and clarity. The impressive contrast, color visuals, and deep blacks. So with the high resolution and size, it should create a totally great and good-looking experience using it.

But even if you don’t plan on using that spec the whole time, the monitor does have a dual mode. So instead of 4k, you can run it at 1080p instead and ramp up the refresh rate up to 680Hz. Pushing its competitiveness even more, you can switch between the options depending on what you’re playing.

Previously, the limits for 4K screens were around 240Hz, so the new generation does increase that by an extra 120Hz. It also brings improvements with an upgrade to the DisplayHDR True Black 600 rating and a new V-stripe pixel structure. The latter of which aims to maximize text readability across various use cases. That is via rearranging the color sub-pixels into a vertical stripe pattern.

A near-perfect monitor that delivers everything consumers expect from a premium monitor

There is no mention of price yet, but Samsung has said it’s already in talks with more than 10 brands for the supply of the panel. But you can expect to be well over $1,000. That is based on the fact that the Samsung G8, a 32-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED, has a list price of $1,299.99 already.
