Micro Center 3-in-1 7600X3D bundle

Ryzen 5 7600X3D, ASUS B650-A ROG Strix Gaming WiFi, and Skill Flare X5 32GB RAM.

What does the AMD bundle offer?

The bundle pairs the Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU, which was released last month, with the ASUS B650A ROG Gaming Strix Gaming WiFi motherboard and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. You can learn more about each component below.

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X3D

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D is the cheapest processor in the current AM5 X3D lineup. However, even though it may fall in the budget category, it boasts some solid specs. In fact, in some gaming tests, the 7600X3D performed better than the 7900X3D.

Samsung launch latest Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup with up to $150 cashback!

Samsung's Unpacked Event unveiled a bunch of exciting new products, including the highly-anticipated Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. Below are all the latest listings that currently stock the smartphone.

Prices correct as of January 23rd, 2025.

For starters, it is a part of the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs and boasts 6 cores and 12 threads. On top of that, it has a base clock speed of 4.1 GHz, but it’s capable of reaching 4.7 GHz. Being an X3D processor, it has an L3 Cache size of 96 MB, which is pretty impressive.

This means that the processor can store more data, which the system needs to access frequently, leading to better overall performance. Aside from that, it has a low TDP of 65W, which means it doesn’t need a high-end cooler to keep it under control. Either way, we still recommend picking up one of the best CPU coolers on the market; an air cooler will perform just fine for the 7600X3D.

Motherboard: ASUS B650-A ROG Strix Gaming WiFi

For the motherboard, Micro Center has decided to go with the ASUS B650-A ROG Strix Gaming WiFi, which is a pretty solid board. It has a white and black theme, with most of its top body, including the IO and M2 covers, are white.

To begin with, this board can host up to four DDR5 7600+ (OC) RAM sticks with a maximum capacity of 193 GB. It also supports AMD EXTended Profiles for Overclocking and features a dual-channel memory architecture. Aside from that, it has three M.2 slots which will keep your SSDs safe and cool, and you can also connect standard SATA drives using four 6Gb/s ports.

As far as the ports are concerned, there are nine USB ports on the back panel, one DisplayPort and HDMI port, one WiFi module, five audio jacks, one BIOS FlashBack button, and one 2.5G Ethernet port, which should benefit those who have a fast internet plan. An interesting feature of the board is the PCIe slot q-release button, which simplifies the process of removing a GPU from the motherboard.

If you’re a fan of RGB, you’ll find aura lighting on the I/O cover, which can help light up the ROG logo. However, you can keep this turned off if you prefer a minimalistic look.

RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 series

You need at least 16 GB of RAM to play most modern games smoothly, and the Micro Center bundle offers double that: 32 GB. The kit includes two 16GB DDR6 6000 MHz sticks, which should be more than enough for most users, including those who are into content creation.

Great value for money

The entire purpose of Micro Center’s bundles is to help you get a solid discount on different components. If you buy the components mentioned above individually, you’d have to spend around $649.97. However, Micro Center is offering a discount of $149.98 on them, so you can get the bundle for only $499.99. The money you save can be used to get one of the best power supplies for gaming or one of the best gaming monitors

If you want a bundle with more components, then this Micro Center’s 4-in-1 bundle with the RX7900 XT might be for you.
