If you thought Secretlab chairs couldn’t get any better, think again. The all-new Secretlab 2022 Series has been announced by the company bringing with it new features and additions to the fan favorite TITAN as well as improved all-around comfortability.
Touching on the improved comfortability, Secretlab specifically worked with an independent Ergonomics Advisory Board on the new TITAN Evo, developing a whole new level of comfort by merging science with the proprietary high-quality materials of Secretlab’s factory.
Dr Jordan Tsai, Secretlab Ergonomics Advisory Board Member had this to say about his inclusion on the TITAN Evo 2022 development:
“I can feel comfortable recommending Secretlab products to esports players I work with because I know they have incorporated needed features with player health in mind. The Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 features new ergonomic considerations including a redesigned seat base, additional adjustability to the lumbar support, and an improved backrest to enable better sitting posture.”
It’s clear to see that Secretlab has gone above and beyond to provide that extra level of comfort by bringing Tsai and others of his ilk on board, which not only bodes well for the TITAN Evo but also any other new iterations on the Secretlab formula.
Now, let’s delve into that new TITAN Evo and all its new features.
Announced today, the all-new Secretlab TITAN Evo for 2022, brings a new spin on the Secretlab staple with added features, upgraded materials, and some fancy new colors that’ll surely become new fan favorites.
Let’s take a closer look at those new features and what they mean for both current Secretlab owners and those who are looking for a new chair in the not too distant future.
The new ergonomic pebble seat base brings together all that the company has learned from both the OMEGA and TITAN chairs over the years and merged the two together to maximize ergonomic support.
The fine-tuned design aims to guide your body toward the middle of the seat providing optimal support, while still leaving plenty of room to accommodate different sitting positions. The more refined seat incline also aims to reduce pressure on your legs to help those who are sitting for long hours to not become fatigued.
A welcomed change for the TITAN Evo is the expansion of the range of sizes available. With the current 2020 model of the TITAN, there is the base ‘regular’ size chair as well as an XL variant for those wanting a slightly larger frame.
Now, with the 2022 TITAN Evo, there are three sizes on offer – Small, Regular, and XL. This opens up the opportunity for those of a smaller nature to get their hands on premium comfort and maybe even introduce your kids to Secretlab chairs for their gaming sessions.
While the 2020 TITAN offers adjustable lumbar support, with the new 4-way L-ADAPTTM Lumbar System, there are more customization options giving you the ability to fine-tune your comfortability and saving your back in the long run.
There are two controls – one for up and down and one for in and out so that you can perfectly match the curvature of your spine, ensuring that you don’t experience any fatigue.
The armrests on all Secretlab chairs are nothing short of fantastic thanks to their varying degrees of adjustability alongside comfort for those elbows but now, they’re even better.
These new Full-metal 4D Armrests come equipped with a CloudSwapTM replacement system which ensures that even if you’ve been using your Secretlab chair for years on end, you’re fully able to replace the cushioning and get that ‘new’ comfort feeling once again.
The known and loved Secretlab Memory Foam Head Pillow just got an upgrade. Gone are the days of elasticated straps holding your pillow in place and in its place is a new magnetic system that ensures no unwanted movement when adjusting your sitting position.
The slight redesign of the pillow shape provides improved ergonomic support for your neck and better strain relief which is a nice addition and a welcomed refinement.
Not included in the base model of the TITAN Evo but more of an added extra is the Lumbar Pillow Pro. This new pillow works in conjunction with the new L-ADAPT Lumbar System to add even more support to your back. It’s taller than its predecessor and has a custom-cut foam density to help with the adjustments you’re going to be making to that L-ADAPT Lumbar System, ensuring there are no snags in getting that perfect spine curvature.
While we’ve seen Secretlab SoftWeave® before, this is a new and improved version boasting a completely new structure of interlacing loops of high-strength yarn fibers allowing for finer details to be had. This also makes the SoftWeave® Plus Fabric 3.5 times stronger than that of its predecessor as well as being softer and more breathable.
The new Secretlab NEO™ Hybrid Leatherette is a new spin on the current PU leather formula that utilizes a unique top resin layer and a new multi-layer structure that withstands long hours of daily use. It also features a base layer of PU reinforced with a 3D structure of ultra-fine fibers coming together to provide exceptional strength, flex, and abrasion resistance. It’s 12 times more durable than regular PU leather too which is pretty incredible considering how long-lasting Secretlabs current PU range is.
We can only assume that along with the new Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022, they’ll also be improvements and additions made to the OMEGA too, bringing a fresh lick of paint to the whole Secretlab lineup. Sadly, we don’t have any tidbits on that currently but hopefully, we get those juicy details soon enough.
