The Steam Deck is one of the most popular handheld gaming devices available today. It offers a full PC gaming experience on the go and competes directly with other popular models like the ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go. While the Steam Deck is already impressive in its original form, many users enjoy customizing it with different third-party accessories, including custom buttons. And one of the most unique sets that we’ve come across is from DeckButtons, as their set includes buttons made out of real stone.

DeckButtons is a company that focuses on creating high-quality custom button sets for the Steam Deck. If you head over to their website, you can find several styles, so you can choose whichever suits your preference. However, their Stone Steam Deck button set appears to be one of the most popular choices, as it has sold out due to high demand.

The buttons are made from a real mineral material that has been used in architecture and sculpture for centuries. This gives the buttons a solid and earthy feel, making them unlike anything else available for the Steam Deck. Each set has a natural, cool surface with a gentle texture that feels very different from the original plastic buttons. On top of that, the interesting part is that each button set is also slightly different in color and texture, making each one unique.

DeckButtons says these buttons work just as well as their other signature sets. The menu and “…” buttons are slightly raised to make them easier to use, and the D-pad has better diagonal accuracy than the stock version. The button sets include everything, such as the A, B, X, and Y buttons, the menu buttons, and a matching D-pad. They come in reusable packaging so users can safely store their original buttons if they ever want to switch back.

The best part is that the stone buttons are compatible with every version of the Steam Deck, including the LCD, OLED, and Limited Edition models. Since they are handmade and made from real stone, no two sets are the same. For now, the set is sold out, but more might become available in the future.
