“The fastest graphics card” under $350 is coming this June, if the MSRP can stick
AMD has had great success with the Radeon RX 9070 XT and has taken the opportunity afforded to the company by the Computex keynote to officially announce the next card in its lineup, the Radeon RX 9060 XT.
The announcement comes after several months of rumors and leaks. During the keynote, AMD slides showed it plans to pit the RX 9060 XT directly against the RTX 5060 Ti. One image showed the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB against the RX 9060 XT 16GB, which had the AMD card claim a 6% improvement on average.
The biggest advantage that AMD has is the price. The 16 GB model of RX 9060 XT will have an MSRP of $349, while the 8GB model will have an MSRP of only $299. This puts it in the price range of the newly released Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, but with performance figures closer to the RTX 5060 Ti.

Consumers may face the same problem that has afflicted every GPU launched in 2025 – availability. Though AMD worked with board partners and retailers to have adequate stock in place for launch, the RX 9070 XT still sold out quickly and had trouble keeping enough units on shelves. This naturally forced prices to rise following the laws of supply and demand. The RX 9060 XT may face similar difficulties.
Curiously, AMD is keeping the 8GB and 16GB VRAM split, despite the criticism that Nvidia attracted when it released the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, a card that one reviewer described as ‘instantly obsolete'. However, from the presentation, it’s clear that the 16GB model is the one AMD wants to talk about most.
The RX 9060 XT will be available for purchase from June 5th.
