However, due to high demand, they sold out quickly on launch day, leading to scalpers listing them for extortionate prices, making it difficult for PC enthusiasts to buy them at MSRP.

Several manufacturers have already started selling high-performance gaming rigs that come with the RX 9070 XT or RX 9070 installed. This prebuilt PC is priced at $1,699, making it a great entry point for gamers who want a powerful machine without overspending.

Should you get a prebuilt?

Of course, anyone in the market for the GPU alone and no other components is not likely to go the prebuilt route. However, if you’re looking for a full upgrade (or near-full upgrade) for your system, you may want to opt for one of these machines. It’s the best way to actually source one of these graphics cards right now while stock remains scarce – especially since prices are set to rise above MSRP once restocks take effect.

Going for a prebuilt lets you skip the hassle of building from scratch. Yes, this usually comes at a premium, but it’s difficult to guarantee you’ll find a 9070 or 9070 XT in stock at a decent price once they are available again. It may even be cheaper than buying one of these cards from a third-party seller who has hiked the price, too.
