Abxylute has been building a name for itself with gaming accessories, especially controllers made for handheld and console players. The brand also just released a dual OS retro gaming handheld. Back in August, Abxylute revealed two new controllers designed for the Nintendo Switch 2. At the time, we only got a first look. But now, more information has been revealed.
The two controllers are called the Abxylute N6 Switch Deck and the Abxylute N9 Switch Grip controller. Both are made for the Nintendo Switch 2, but they are aimed at different types of players. Instead of going straight to retail, Abxylute has confirmed that both controllers will launch through Kickstarter. The pre-launch page is already live, even though the company has not shared an exact launch date yet. But based on earlier hints, the campaign is expected to go live sometime this month.
Abxylute introduces the N6 & N9 controllers for Nintendo Switch 2
The Abxylute N6 is clearly inspired by deck-style controllers that wrap around the console. It is designed to give the Switch 2 a more solid feel akin to the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. One of the newest details is a fresh color option. Abxylute shared an image of the N6 in an Indigo colorway, which stands out compared to the standard white version and is an obvious callback to the Nintendo GameCube. This model uses mostly gray buttons, with small color accents like a yellow joystick cap, a green A button, and a red B button. It gives the controller a more playful look without being too flashy.
The Abxylute N9 takes a different approach. It is a grip-style controller with a built-in kickstand, making it useful for both handheld and tabletop play. According to the Kickstarter page, it comes with a full-size grip design that focuses on comfort and stability. It uses TMR joysticks, which are designed to reduce drift and improve long-term accuracy.

Both controllers support 9-axis motion control, which helps with aiming and movement in games that use gyro features. They also include vibration feedback and turbo functions for faster inputs. Another useful feature is pass-through charging, which allows you to keep playing while the Switch 2 charges. Programmable buttons are also included, letting players customize controls to match their play style.
One interesting feature mentioned is video output support. This means you can connect the controller setup for big-screen gaming more easily, which adds flexibility depending on how you play. However, neither controller supports HD Rumble 2 at launch, but Abxylute has said that a future version with HD Rumble 2 is planned, but it will not be available right away. In any case, pricing has not been revealed yet, but we’ll most likely hear more soon.
