Finding high-end graphics cards for a decent price has been problematic for a few generations. However, now that Nvidia’s latest RTX 50 series has been out for the best part of a year, we can start to see some price drops for the most powerful gaming GPUs on the market at a popular UK retailer.

Sadly we couldn’t find any sub-MSRP RTX 5090 cards in stock right now (we have seen them in the past). The good news is, the next best thing – the RTX 5080 – is going for under its recommended price tag, if you don’t mind picking up a B-Grade. To put it simply, a B-Grade item refers to a used GPU, but one which is still operational.

B Grade RTX 5080s available at Overclockers UK

Popular online store Overclockers UK currently has two RTX 5080 models for under Nvidia’s current £909 MSRP. For reference, a brand-new card will cost you from £949.99 – most models cost above the £1,000 mark. If you don’t mind opting for a used one however, both of these B-Grade models are just £899.99.

RetailerModelPrice
Overclockers UKB Grade Palit GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Pro£899.99
Overclockers UKB Grade Zotac GeForce RTX 5080 Solid Core£899.99

A B Grade product is an item that has superficial damage, missing parts, has been previously used, or any combination of these. They should still be an operable product, but cannot be sold at full price due to the aforementioned conditions.

Whether you want to buy a B-Grade item or not is totally up to you. One of the benefits of this scheme is that all B-Grade models come with six months of OcUK warranty, as the original product warranty is void. This protects you from any immediate issues with the GPU, though it should be noted that Overclockers UK does tests items before selling them as B-Grade, so there should be no problems in that regard.

It’s interesting to note that the MSRP of the RTX 5080 in the UK has actually dropped recently – previously we’d see it listed for £949 at the official Nvidia store. These days, it is listed “from “starting at £909” in the region, though Founders Edition cards are currently out of stock on the Nvidia marketplace, so you won’t actually find a brand-new one for that price.
