Will there be Ryzen 9 9900X3D pre orders?
Pre orders don’t really exist for CPU and GPU launches like they do for some other products – you’ll rarely see a retailer allowing you to buy them before the actual release date, and certainly not for any kind of discount on the normal MSRP. That being said, there are some retailers like Overclockers and Best Buy that campaigns they refer to as ‘pre orders’ – basically these are just ways to get notifications/email alerts when these products come in stock and are available to buy.
How much will you pay for the 9900X3D?
AMD has officially announced that the Ryzen 9 9900X3D will cost $599 USD at launch, which is exactly the same price that the previous-gen 7900X3D retailed for when it launched back in 2023. This has brought some relief to those concerned that the company might up their prices.
