We’ve made it to 2025 and the new year is always an exciting time for the tech industry as it means CES is back. As one of the biggest events of the year, CES 2025 will be the stage for a number of huge announcements from the likes of Nvidia, AMD, and much more. One of the most anticipated announcements (although Nvidia hasn’t confirmed it yet) is for the RTX 50 series.

However, while we wait for the 50 series to be revealed, Team Green has announced yet another giveaway. We’ve seen a bunch of these lately – especially in collaboration with games like Stalker 2 or most recently Cyberpunk 2077. Now, you can win yourself a piece of Nvidia history signed by CEO Jensen Huang.

Nvidia GeForce 8800 Ultra graphics card giveaway

CES 2025 takes place next week; Nvidia will kick off proceedings with its opening keynote on January 6th, 6:30 pm PT. Just ahead of the event, it has announced a giveaway for the GeForce 8800 Ultra, the company’s first CUDA GPU. This series was launched back in 2006, so obviously you aren’t going to stick it in your gaming PC these days. The framed graphics card is signed by Jensen Huang and makes for an excellent collector’s item.

How to enter the giveaway

This giveaway is part of the GeForceGreats series in the run-up to CES 2025. To be in the chance to win the signed GeForce 8800 Ultra, here’s what you need to do:

  • Visit the relevant Nvidia GeForce post on X
  • Sign in to X (we’d recommend following the account if you haven’t already)
  • Comment #GeForceGreats on the post for a chance to win

As the first CUDA GPU, the 8800 Ultra represented a milestone for Nvidia and is the flagship GPU of the GeForce 8 series. Releasing back in May 2007 with a massive (at the time) $830+ price tag (according to this article), the Ultra offers 768MB GDDR3 memory and a 612 MHz clock speed. Nothing by today’s standards, but it’s a piece of history that you can make your own.
