Table of Contents
Blizzard has finally announced exactly when World of Warcraft: Forever goes live, and it’s happening today (November 4) for much of the world. For some other regions, it crosses over into the 5th of the month. In any case, whether you’re a seasoned WoW player or jumping in for the first time, the new ‘Classic+’ experience will go live globally, so you’ll need to account for time zones.
There’s going to be plenty to explore in the new Forever version. This includes new ways to create your hero, as Blizzard has introduced unique combinations to the franchise and a brand-new Skyborn race. If you’re hoping to get started as soon as possible (and not fall behind other players), we’ve explained all you need to know about the release time in your region below.
When does WoW Forever release today?
According to an official blog post, World of Warcraft: Forever will be live on November 4 at 3 PM Pacific Time. We’ve put together a bunch of time zone conversions below to help you figure out how that looks in your region. There’s also a countdown clock just below, which will be ticking down to the exact second, but keep in mind that it will disappear once it expires.

What is World of Warcraft Forever?
Following up on World of Warcraft: Classic, which launched back in 2019, the new Forever version is another permanent version of World of Warcraft that revisits the original Azeroth while introducing new content and gameplay features. It expands the original level 1-60 experience (found in Classic) with new and reimagined zones, more than 1,000 additional quests, and 9 new dungeons. The standard version of World of Warcraft will continue to exist alongside Classic and Forever – no versions are being replaced.
Blizzard plans to keep expanding WoW Forever with new raids, dungeons, quests, PvP content, and other updates, with community feedback helping shape its future. Access is included with an active WoW subscription, so players don’t need to purchase a separate game. Alternatively, players may purchase Game Time for limited-time access without a recurring subscription.
