It’s been quite a tumultuous time for Intel, as it became rather hard to recommend Intel’s latest CPUs due to its instability problems. It felt the fallout quite substantially but still took time to find and try to rectify this problem. As its best CPUs seemed to be the ones affected, and for multiple generations, there is a lot that might be out there. Fortunately, Intel did extend the warranty of its 13th and 14th Gen processors – but what if you have a prebuilt gaming PC?

It might be a different solution for you as without having purchased the CPU yourself, it might be harder to try and claim the warranty. Which is where you’d turn where you got it from to try and find a solution to your problem when you find your PC crashing and seemingly worse off. Well, The Verge has contacted a variety of system integrators to see what they have to say about it.

The ones contacted are some of the biggest in the market, so they likely have the biggest customer count. That means anyone worried about their system after hearing the news should hopefully find some respite in the answers these companies have provided.

There is a mix of responses and solutions they have provided. Currently, seven of them are extending the warranty, not all of them to the full five but still a significant amount. Then five of them did not commit to a firm answer as they were still looking into it with Intel, while a couple still had no answers.
