Yes, the Steam Summer Sale is over, but these games are still on sale

Table of Contents
Even though the Steam Summer Sale has sadly come to an end, the discounts never seem to stop over on your average PC gamer’s favorite platform. So even though the event is officially over, we’ve found a number of games still on sale that are worth checking out – especially if you didn’t have the chance to pick up anything new in the past couple of weeks.
In fact, there are more games on sale than you may first think, so condensing them down into a neat and tidy list was a little bit challenging. With that in mind, we’ve picked out some fan favorites mixed while maintaining a good mix of genres, so there should be something for everyone here.
Leftover offers from the Steam Summer Sale
To keep it short and sweet, we’ve picked out five games worth checking out now that the main event has ended. We recently compiled lists of the top 5 all-time low prices and the top 5 under $5 back when the Summer sale was still on. There are still some stragglers there if you want to dive deeper, but today we’re going to focus on a new list of games we’ve yet to recommend.

Palworld
You may know of Palworld as the successful Pokémon lookalike that caused a stir when it launched earlier this year. As an early access game, it is always improving – recently with the major Sakurajima update. It got a price cut at the start of the Summer Sale, but this discount is lingering around for an extra week as it lasts until July 18.
Lies of P
Lies of P is another game that garnered a solid amount of interest from the likes of streamers at launch and it is now $35.99 due to a 40% discount. It also went on sale at the start of the Summer event, hitting a new low price, and will remain that way until July 16. A single-player soulslike experience, Lies of P is said to bring a more beginner-friendly entry to the popular genre.
Spin Rhythm XD
For something a little different, give Spin Rhythm XD a spin. As the name suggests, this is a rhythm game that takes a similar approach to some games of old such as Guitar Hero or Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). At 60% off, it now costs just $7.99 and will do so until the 20th of July. On top of that, there’s a free demo to try out, and the game even supports VR.
We Were Here Forever
Yet another game at its lowest-ever price despite the Summer Sale ending is We Were Here Forever. This is part of the We Were Here series, coming in as the fourth entry. If you’ve played any of the previous titles, you sort of know what you’re in for – plenty of co-op puzzle-solving and adventure. We’d also recommend checking out the older games if you haven’t done so before.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Last, but not least, we have Rise of the Tomb Raider, the second installment in the trilogy of Tomb Raider reboots. If you happened to play the successful reboot and never got around to experiencing its sequel, now’s a good time to buy. It is currently just $5.99 and is a must-have before you move on to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Go for the ’20 Year Celebration’ pack which includes the Season Pass and DLC content.
Alternatively, if you don’t have any of these Tomb Raider reboots, we instead suggest the Survivor Trilogy Bundle which is currently 94% off and the best value for money overall.
Which game should I pick?
Looking at our five picks above, we’ve tried to cover a good range of genres, so recommending just one is a tough call. It all comes down to what your gaming preferences are, or if you already own any of the titles listed above. There are some great single-player experiences in our top picks, but also co-op and multiplayer in the form of We Were Here Forever and Palworld respectively.
For an expansive open-world experience, try out Palworld, to test your musical talent, Spin Rhythm XD is a lot of fun – it’s up to you in the end. On a final note: not satisfied with our selection? Well, you can see a full list of deals over on SteamDB.
