How to connect universal remote to Sanyo TV

If you have the right remote code for your Sanyo TV, then here’s how to program it –

Press the Setup button

Turn your Sanyo TV on. Press and hold the ‘Setup’ button on your GE remote until the red light comes. After the light comes on and stays solid, you can release the button.

Depending on your remote, the ‘Setup’ button can also be labeled as Magic, Program, or Code Search.

Press the ‘TV’ button

Next, press and let go of the TV button on the GE remote. The red light will blink and confirm your selection.

Now, type in the Sanyo TV code that you found using the number buttons. As soon as you enter the last digit, the red light will go off.

If the TV does not turn off, press the volume up button again. Keep pressing the button every three seconds until the TV turns off. Then press the TV button to save it.
