There's no doubting that the Oculus Quest 2 is a fantastic piece of VR technology, providing a tether-free experience for much-improved immersion for all to enjoy. While this is the case though, it is still tech at the end of the day and that only means one thing – potential hiccups at the most pressing times.

What you can do if you encounter some serious barriers in your Oculus Quest 2 headset is to perform a factory reset. Similar to that of PC, mobile phones, and tablets, executing a factory reset will usually solve a whole host of different problems and ultimately, set your Quest 2 up for a fresh boot up.

Below, we'll run you through two ways in which you can factory reset your Quest 2 so you can avoid those inconvenient lock-ups. However, before we get into that, completing a full factory reset on your Quest 2 will delete all data so ensure you have those logins saved elsewhere. It won't, however, reverse any digital purchases you've made and you're free to download them again when you boot up your VR headset again.
