Table of Contents
The monitor market has plenty of possibilities, and if you’re a gamer who values immersion over speed, this deal may be for you. The funkily styled Alienware AW3425DWM is a 34-inch WQHD 1500R curved gaming monitor with a solid 180Hz refresh rate, helping you enjoy 2K gaming at a decent clip. Its latest deal knocks the price to $290, a $50 saving on the hugely popular premium monitor.
Why we like the Alienware 34-inch AW3425DWM
Impressive curved WQHD
A 34-inch screen is a good size for curved 2K viewing. The AW3425DWM adds to immersive gameplay thanks to its 1500R curvature. The 1500R denotes a subtle, less severe curve, making it ideal for new curved monitor owners wanting to experience ultra-wide gaming and the added peripheral viewing it brings. It’s not just for gaming, though, as users report it’s a joy to use for daily productivity.
For fast and responsive gaming
Although the AW3425DWM’s 180Hz refresh rate isn’t blindingly fast, speed can be relative. An 180Hz rate can still support up to 180 frames per second. At QHD, that is enough for many midrange systems to keep busy with, and the monitor’s 1ms response time is still lightning-quick and responsive.
