Alienware RTX 5070 gaming PC deal drops price by $100
Table of Contents
The Alienware Aurora ACT1250 gaming PC is a robust mid-range offering, powered by the Core Ultra 7 265F and the RTX 5070. This gives it plenty of punching power in multi-threaded operations as well as gaming. The graphics card brings solid 1440p performance but, with the help of upscaling, can also push 4K in many titles. What we really liked was the 1000W power supply unit, as that gives this build a level of longevity that isn’t commonly seen.
The asking price for this gaming PC was $1,999.99, but right now it’ll only cost you $1,899.99 with this Amazon deal. You’ll also get 1 year of Onsite service from Dell, so no matter where you are, Dell will come and fix whatever problem you run into in person. So, we think it is definitely worth checking out, but you can find more gaming PC deals at the foot of this page as well.

What we liked about this gaming PC
The RTX 5070 brings next-gen features to the table
Here at PC Guide, we’ve had the pleasure of testing and reviewing plenty of RTX 5070s, such as the PNY RTX 5070 Slim OC, ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC, and the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC. All three cards breezed through 1440p gaming in every title that we tested, but we also saw decent output at native 4K. The kicker was when we ramped up the settings at 4K in Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing, the FPS initially dropped a lot, but with DLSS 4 and MFG, it was able to deliver well over 100 FPS, ensuring smooth gameplay.

1000W PSU does more than you think
Powering this entire gaming PC is a 1000W platinum-rated PSU, which is amazing in and of itself. This will ensure that most of the energy being pulled gets utilized, and that will keep your electricity bills on the lower end in the long term. However, this capacity is also overkill for the current components, so why did they go with it? Well, it does provide a whole lot of options for future-proofing.
You can upgrade the CPU and processor to the best offerings like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and the RTX 5090, and you’ll still be good to go. That is what this PSU brings to the table.
The Core Ultra 7 265F is great for extreme processing
This processor might not get the most recognition, but you can say that for pretty much any processor on the Arrow Lake platform, except the newer additions. However, the multi-threaded processing is exceptional even though its gaming performance isn’t the best. It also comes with a locked multi-threaded, so you can’t overclock it but even with base specs, it will ensure that you can handle demanding tasks like 4K video editing, compiling, rendering, encoding, compression, and more.
