Key features of this ABS Eurus Ruby RTX 5090 gaming PC

Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor

This PC packs the extremely impressive Ryzen 9 9950X3D, which is a powerhouse for gaming, but also boasts incredible multitasking and workstation capabilities, too, making it a very strong option for those looking to get the absolute most out of the RTX 5090. It boasts a punchy 5.7Ghz boost clock speed and massive 128MB L3 cache, made possible with its unique 3D V-cache technology, which enables it to accommodate very high framerates with very low frame latency, making it ideal for both CPU-bound esports games, like Valorant and CS: Go, but also brilliant for running demanding AAA titles running at 4K and max settings. It also features 16 cores and 32 threads, which allow it to handle anything from streaming and running background applications like Discord, to handling very heavy content creation workflows, like rendering, editing in 3D, and complex video editing, and more with ease. If you want the gaming prowess of something like the 9800X3D, but with a beefy core count that’s closer to some of the upper-end Intel Core Ultra series, like the 9-285K, then this is the CPU for you.

RTX 5090 graphics card

The best graphics card on the market, and an absolute beast for 4K gaming and extremely demanding content creation workflows. This card features 32GB of faster, higher bandwidth GDDR7 VRAM, which allows it to handle very high resolutions and textures easily, and gives you enough headroom to work in 3D efficiently, too, with super-fast rendering speeds, for example. It’s built on Nvidia’s Blackwell Architecture, so you’re getting something that’s designed with improved ray tracing and AI performance in mind. Here, you have 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which can handle more complex scenarios faster and more efficiently, preserving performance at higher fps, and also new 5th-gen tensor cores, which power exclusive features like MFG, and enhance AI-related workflows in applications like Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro. Be sure to check out our MSI RTX 5090 graphics card review for benchmarks and more on what to expect in terms of performance.

Storage and RAM

For RAM, you’ve got the sweet spot here, coming in at 32GB. This is going to help improve gaming performance if you’re playing detailed, asset-heavy open-world games, like Cyberpunk 2077, and is going to dramatically improve performance in popular creative applications, allowing you to edit huge files without slowdowns, export and render faster, and more. On the storage side, you’ve got 2TB, which is ideal for most, as it can easily hold a large gaming library while giving you enough room for other files, like 4K footage, or large PSDs, for example. It’s not a Gen5 SSD, mind you, but these are quite rare to find in 5090 prebuilds from my experience, and only really worth the extra spend for die-hard enthusiasts in all honesty.

Things to consider

At under $5,000, this is a beast, and well worth considering, but if you are looking to spend a touch less, and are primarily looking for pure gaming performance, I’d say it’s worth checking out RTX 5090, Ryzen 7 9800X3D models instead. This CPU has a 5.2GHz boost clock speed, 96MB L3 cache, 8 cores, and 16 threads, and also boasts 2nd-gen 3D V-cache architecture, which is designed for better thermal performance, too, allowing for steady performance even under heavy loads. This CPU is still a top-tier processor to pair with the RTX 5090, and it gives you a lot of room for upgrades in the future due to its AM5 compatibility.
