Table of Contents
The Skytech King 95 lineup is a great way to go if you’re looking for something with outstanding performance, cooling, and eye-catching aesthetics, and the good news is that they usually see some pretty solid discounts, too. Take this build, which is $300 off and down to its lowest price in 30 days at Newegg, coming in at $3,299.99.
While you could get more affordable RTX 5080 builds, one of the big things here is that you’ve got one of the latest Ryzen X3D processors, the 7 9850X3D. This CPU is basically a higher-powered 7 9800X3D, featuring the same 8 cores, 16 threads, and massive 96MB L3 cache, but with a 5.6GHz boost clock speed for even better gaming performance. Paired with the RTX 5080, it makes this build not only great for QHD and 4K, but outstanding for competitive gaming at extremely high frame rates. It’s the type of configuration that would suit those who play a wide range of different games at very different settings.
Skytech Gaming King 95 Gaming PC, NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB VRAM
Elsewhere in this PC, you’ve got your standard 32GB of DDR5 and 2TB SSD, both of which won’t need any upgrading any time soon, especially if you’re using this build mainly for gaming. There’s a robust 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler, which is actually more than enough for the 7 9850X3D and will provide plenty of thermal headroom when gaming and put less strain on fan speeds.

This is all housed in a stunning Montech white PC case, which is as much designed for airflow as it is for pure aesthetics. Tempered glass curved panels, ARGB throughout, and a white colorway make this an excellent choice if you’re looking to elevate your setup to the next level, especially if you’ve also got white peripherals, too.
Why this Skytech King 95 RTX 5080 build is worth considering
It’s outstanding for gaming across the board
Thanks in part to the Ryzen 7 9850X3D’s massive 96MB L3 cache and 5.6GHz boost clock, this gaming PC is a powerhouse for gaming, and as much a strong choice for 4K as it is for competitive play.
Future-facing platform
Pairing an RTX 5080 with a powerful i9-14900KF processor is a decent way to go, especially if you want a higher core count and want to save some cash, but your upgrade path is more limited than simply going for an AM5 build like this one. For gaming-first builds, I’d say AM5 makes a lot of sense.
