This is further bolstered by the RTX 5080 and its 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. The cores based on the Blackwell architecture give it immersive parallel processing, making this beast suitable for AI, GPU-accelerated workflows, and raw gaming performance in simply outstanding. NVIDIA Studio, Reflex 2, DLSS 4.5, and MFG are all features that allow this card to deliver smooth and responsive gameplay while churning out productivity that only the RTX 5090 can overshadow.
Here at PC Guide, we have reviewed the Core Ultra 9 285K and three variants of the RTX 5080: The RTX 5080 FE, the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC, and the ASUS RTX 5080 Noctua OC Edition. We took all these components through their paces, and for a better understanding of what this build will give you, we recommend you check out the in-depth breakdown.
360mm AIO offers plenty of overhead
One of the best aspects of this gaming PC is the 360mm AIO cooler. Not only does it suit the 285K perfectly, but it also comes with a 6.67″ L-shaped AMOLED display. With or without the display, the cooler would’ve done its job, but having the display allows you to customize it further and allows you to add a layer of your personality to the build. That being said, the 285K is comparatively cooler than the previous generation Intel processors, but it can still get hot.
So, having a robust cooler on top of it will ensure that it doesn’t overheat and cause stability issues, especially when you’re trying to overclock it. Also, sustained heavy workflows are possible with a high-end cooler.
32GB DDR5 RAM ensures smooth multitasking performance
The system memory of this build, 32GB DDR5 RAM, is more than enough to handle heavy multitasking. It can house 4K textures, video data, local AI models, game data, and other information with ease. This allows the processor to keep knocking it out of the park without having to wait for more data to arrive in the RAM. It drives a good gaming experience with great 1% lows and high overall frames.
Who’s this deal for?
This is a very expensive gaming PC, and we think it is perfect for content creators, streamers, scientists, enthusiasts, and generally users who want a future-proof machine. It has amazing components that enable it to handle anything you can throw at it, and that is why it is priced at $3,999.99, but for casual gaming and everyday use, we won’t recommend this build, and specialized use cases suit its capabilities much better.
