When will smart watch Black Friday deals start in 2022?
Black Friday this year falls on November 25. With that in mind, we expect the main Black Friday sales to start at retailers from Monday, November 21. This is when big retailers like Best Buy and Currys (UK) tend to kick off their deals.
Amazon and other retailers may start earlier though. Last year, Amazon began its deals on November 18.
How to get the best smart watch Black friday deals in 2022
Compare: The way to ensure you get the best value on a smart watch is to pick a model with all of the features you need, or may want. Buying the most expensive model may land you with more tech, but will you use it? A Garmin Forerunner will be overkill if you just want to track your steps.
Shop early: Deals will likely start in early November, and being aware of this could mean you get a great deal early. But it also pays to shop early in the day during the sales. Prices and stock may change, and deals are released first thing. Try to get a look early so you don’t miss out.
Features to consider when looking for a Black Friday smart watch deal
Mobile OS support: While Fitbit watches will work with both Android and iOS, you’ll not be able to use an apple Watch with Android. Similarly, the Galaxy Watch 4 won’t work with the iPhone (although other, earlier models will).
GPS: Built-in GPS tracking is more common on newer smart watches. But if you don’t need it, you can potentially save some money on getting a more affordable, or older (and so more affordable) model of smart watch.
Do smart watches go on sale for Black Friday?
Yes, in fact, Black Friday is probably the best time of the year to buy a smart watch. Not only are there plenty of deals to choose from, but models which may not normally be discounted can get discounts too. We’re looking at you, Apple Watches.
Which smart watch is best low price?
There are a few more affordable options for low price smart watches. We’d suggest Fitbit or Amazfit as good places to start. However, on Black Friday, pricier smart watches become more affodable. So there may be more options to choose from!
